Lazing on a sunny afternoon.

Yes we did have sunshine after a very chilly morning. Put my winter jacket on early morning when we went to Birstall market to buy our fish.
Then the Farm Shop before settling down back home.

That’s when the sun came out and it warmed up.
Spent time in the garden, which is when I took this photo sat on the swing seat.
The Nepeta was a real buzz with dozens of bees. They certainly love this plant.
Planted up some pea plants which I have grown on the windowsill.
The blackbirds have been digging around in our raised bed again and the young lettuce plants are covered in soil.

We still have a sneaky wind, but a heatwave is promised this weekend!!
