Dishing up the 'ooooom

Spent a lot of time cooking today, which I love, but ended up with a bit of a rushed shot just before we ate.   The first time in a while that we’ve all been together for a meal,  so we celebrated with some recipes from the Dishoom book, enjoyed in the garden in the evening sun.

Oh, and lovely Ed the Boiler Man was here today. There was water in the bottom of the oil tank which he gallantly siphoned out - with an oily mouthful to get it going. New pump on order, so we’re relying on the (currently reliable) sun to heat the water for now.
