Burrell Collection

Packed the car which was very full and drove to Glasgow. We had arranged to meet my cousin for lunch at the Burrell Collection. This was the first time she had met Lando so it was lovely to spend time together. We had lunch, looked at the textile exhibits and saw some very cute twin Highland calves.
We started the rest of our journey just after 3pm and made good time until we were stopped at Inveraray. Unfortunately a serious accident had blocked the A83 so we were told we would need to take a two hour detour via Oban. Lando was needing a break from the car seat at this point so we took a little walk while deciding what to do. Two ambulances drove past so we thought we would risk continuing the usual way. Cars were coming towards us so I knew people were able to pass and at the scene we had a 10 minute wait before the road was cleared. I haven't heard but hope everyone involved are okay.
Lando was very happy to see his dad when we finally arrived in Ardrishaig.
