Balancing Act

This morning the scaffolders were in bright and early to dismantle all their equipment  We have had our roof painted.
 
 Then at noon came the lorry with the giant crane to remove it . I was pleased to see the men took great care to avoid damaging our trees and rhododendrons.
It was impressive to watch them doing what is both a physically demanding and dangerous job. And they even swept the drive afterwards.

The team , father and two sons, is a local family business, from Alloa. Robin Stewart, the father said he used to work for BP in Grangemouth then decided to set up his own business. 

“ You’ve got to take a chance in life… “ he said, adding philosophically “…life is a chance.”
