Peeping !

A drive up to White Row Farm Shop near Frome this morning to meet up with my friend Carly who I worked with at Selwood Middle School in my 40s . ( I can’t believe I’m now in my 60s as it doesn’t seem long ago ) ! 
We had a good exchange of news . By the time I left, it was really hot . 
P had mown the lawn and finished the decorating so hopefully we can put the room back to normal before we go away .
I’ve been concerned today as I hadn’t seen the house-martins fly in or out of their nest but after keeping watch for ten minutes or so, one flew in and then peeped out . It made up for the horror of a nightjar eating it’s baby alive on Springwatch!!
