My Dear Princess,

I went into the office today. I kind of like going in on a Friday because it's really quiet and no-one is he-

Said Briar's text. 

So I spent the day with Briar. She amused me with her chat all day and then we went to buy tūī and kōkako plushies for my nieces. 

This made Briar very happy. She played with the plushies all afternoon. 

I'm not sure how much progress I made on work today, but that's ok. It will still be here when I get back and people seem happy with me. 

But more importantly, plushies.
