Cornflowers
At Inverleith in a corner of the Sundial garden. Centaurea cyanus, with bumble bees.
A round of resupply first. Then a review of the drain work done while I was away, which resulted in several pictures of pipes, valves and a ground strap. Out to walk after that.
At Inverleith pond, the swans have moved onto the island and were moving nesting material there. There was a meeping coot chick being fed, a moorhen, and lots of swallows swooping over the water (might have been martins, they moved too fast for me to differentiate). Back by Dundas Street. Long sleeves and a scarf weather, though there was sunshine. 13C.
