Time for a rest...

My first task was to use the good weather as an opportunity to cut the grass which I did before it became too warm. Later when it clouded over I trimmed and cleaned one of the borders.

Now it's time to sit in the garden seat, complete the crossword and read a bit more of the Dambusters story, always having in mind the classic 1954 film starring Richard Todd.

Sadly my presence in the garden is disturbing a rather beautiful thrush who would probably come down to feed if I were not here. Earlier I saved the snail from a couple of days ago by moving him out if the path of the lawn mower.
