Thank You Betty
A bit of a strange blip today, it's a fridge/freezer in case you can't figure it out, with an old fire station trailer thingy, model of a Gloster Meteor and 'BIGGLES' the biplane built by the Jet Age Museum restoration team.
The story is that Betty (my favourite Mother in Law) has been with us for about 5 months now and she has been slowly clearing her old house. Bit sad really, the family have lived there for 44 years.
She was a bit worried about the fridge/freezer but as I was sat at a Jet Age Museum committee meeting about 3 months ago the lady that is going to run the cafe ran through a list of stuff she would need, including a F/F. I told her I might know of someone who would be willing to donate one. Betty very kindly, after asking around the family, said yes the museum could have it.
This is not it's final resting place but work is ongoing in the area where the cafe is going to be so can't put it in there yet.
The museum is going to be brilliant I'm sure so if you are in the Gloucester region after August make sure you pop in.
