Racing to get to Appleby

A wonderful day at Appleby Horse Fair. Got there early, full English, then down to the river where the horses got washed. Blue sky, sunshine all day and lots of happy visitors to this annual travellers event. Plenty of police and RSPCA personnel to ensure peace and safety and a massive clean up truck to put the street back to working order after several hundred horses has spent the day trotting up and down and doing what horses do.
