He thinks he owns the place

Maybe it's a she. But this groundhog has been showing up hither and yon about the place. I'd be fine if it goes across the street or just grazes like it was doing today. I just don't want it in my garden when it starts going.
I looked out the window this morning and saw him out in the yard. I called out to him thinking he would run off hopefully across the road. But he turned and ran back under the deck. I looked out again and saw him lounging. The life of Riley.. :-)
I took one last day off from school to use up some of my time off before the end of the year. Yes, we only have next week but still I did it :-) I was able to finish priming my office/studio and got some beans and beets in. It was a productive day. Dan was off by 9:30 this morning. He blew a radiator hose at the Massachusetts line. He had extra stuff to fix it and was on his way. That's why he can drive that old truck.. He knows how to fix it. Me... no way...
