Burrowing Owlets
Acting on sage advice from Hillyblips, I travelled about 30 minutes north to a park that has the largest number of burrowing owls in Florida. I even found her favorite spot.
In addition, a park maintainance person directed me to a location where there were chicks. Mom was stationed right outside the burrow, and after I stood quietly for a while, these three little owlets emerged and were very curious, watching me closely. I was thrilled to get a shot of them.
