Treuliais i'r diwrnod llawn yn gweithio ar y goeden. Roedd dau foncyff i'w torri. Daeth y cyntaf i lawr ar y goeden cwins a chymerodd gangen i ffwrdd. Doedd e ddim problem - roedden ni'n mynd i docio y goeden cwins beth bynnag. Roedd rhaid i mi symud y boncyff oddi ar y goeden cwins, ond yna penderfynais i dorri'r ail foncyff yn lle glirio'r malurion y cyntaf. Daeth yr ail i lawr heb achosi gormod o ddifrod.  Symudais i bopeth i'r llwybr ond doedd dim egni (neu amser) gyda fi i wneud mwy. Rydw i'm meddwl y bydd e'n cymryd wythnos i glirio'r malurion ond o leiaf rydw i'n gallu gwneud gweddill y gwaith ar lefel y ddaear.

Rydw i'n meddwl y roedd e'r mwyaf gwaith rydw i erioed wedi gwneud i fyny ysgol gyda llif tocio. Roedd e'n lle lletchwith i wneud, ond mae'n wastad ymddangos i fod fel 'na pan rydych chi'n tocio coed yn yr ardd ac y ceisio eu perswadio nhw cwympo yn y lle cywir.

Rydw i'n meddwl nawr mae coeden celyn sydd angen rhywfaint o sylw ... yn y pen draw.

I spent the whole day working on the tree. There were two trunks to cut. The first came down on the quince tree and took a branch off. It wasn't a problem - we were going to prune the quince tree anyway. I had to remove the trunk from the quince tree, but then I decided to cut the second trunk instead of clearing the debris from the first. The second came down without causing too much damage. I moved everything to the path but I had no energy (or time) to do more. I think it will take a week to clear the debris but at least I can do the rest of the work at ground level.

I think it was the most work I've ever done up a ladder with a pruning saw. It was an awkward place to work, but it always seems to be like that when you are trimming trees in the garden and trying to persuade them to fall in the right place.

I think now there is a holly tree that needs some attention...eventually.
