Sròn a' Choire Ghairbh and Meall na Teanga

Another completely stunning Friday up North - the weather these last few weeks really has been quite remarkable :-)

We managed a further 2 Munros today: Sròn a' Choire Ghairbh and Meall na Teanga (which are known as the Loch Lochy Munros), and had wonderful conditions for the whole expedition!

Main snap is taken from the summit of the 2nd Munro, Meall na Teanga, and you may be able to just make out the snow still clinging to the Northern flanks of Ben Nevis in the mid-distance; 1st extra shows one of the direction-posts near the start of the mountain-access footpath; 2nd extra shows my two walking-partners, 'M' & 'M', making the earlier, initial approach to the first top, Sròn a' Choire Ghairbh.

A great day's walking - made all the better by a most-enjoyable food stop at McKays, in Pitlochry, on the way home :-)
