Serious business

The boy is hungry. 
Today was his first day flying solo as a tour guide in Trinity College, after a bit over a week of shadowing other more experienced tour guides. 
When I asked how it had gone, he was his usual affable self: pretty good. 
He even added: "I made my first tips today... €2."
Which happens to be the price of a slice of my homemade pizza. 
It's good that he is working. Especially now that his documentary project has just been completed. He spent most of the month of May writing, recording and editing it. 
The Khmer Rouge are one of his areas of self-specialisation. I certainly learned a lot watching it. Perhaps not one to watch if you are feeling a bit down, or disillusioned with the human species...
