I’m very fortunate that both my operations were in a private hospital in York, funded by the NHS.
What is not so good that when there’s a problem it’s an 80 mile round trip, (clocked up nearly 400 miles in the last two weeks).We had to make another emergency trip again today to have my dressing changed. The good news - the nurse was confident that the bleeding had stopped.

Pretty tired when I got back so had a lie down woke up over an hour later.
