Helen Lederer

To a super lunch party today to celebrate a big birthday of an old friend, Andrew. One of the neighbours in his street when he was growing up was the Lederer family. Helen has gone on to comedy fame. It was a pleasure to meet her and chat. She's hard at work writing and broadcasting. 

I reminded her that we had sat next to each other at a dinner party thrown by Andrew and Linda many years ago at their house. She looked blank which suggests that she made more of an impression on me than me on her. Oh well.
