Concert at St Andrews

Had to take the dogs for a walk this afternoon as Sian had gone to hospital to visit Ian who was readmitted last night for antibiotics and removal of fluid from his stomach! He had been sent home after an ileostomy reversal before he had had a poo!

The dogs and I went to mount edgcumbe on the ferry and enjoyed a happy hour and a half there! Sian was back when we got home and Ian was happy to be in hospital to get things sorted!

Went to a West Devon Chorale concert which was spectacular! Handel coronation anthems before the interval including Zadok the Priest, and after the interval there was a selection of music from Parry to Esenvalds and Dive, neither of whom I had heard of and culminating in Parry. Blest Pair of Sirens! The sopranos soared effortlessly on the high notes and the whole sound was beautifully balanced and rich and varied and thevorgan accompaniment was on point! A real treat!
