Main Beach, Gold Coast

Martin had arranged for some old friends to come join us for breakfast.  We chatted for nearly 4 hours .... it was great to see them again.

We then went for a walk on Main Beach, the weather was perfect, glorious sunshine, gentle breeze.

When we got back to the hotel, we sat by the pool and had a cocktail and made some new friends. 

A couple celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary.  Lovely chatting with them. We had organised to have fish and chips across the road from our hotel for dinner, and they asked if they could join.  No problems there ... we share our red wine and they brought a yummy champagne .... to complement the delicious fish and chips.
