Royal fire plaque, Sandwich.

We went to the lovely town of Sandwich today. It is full of very pretty houses- many of them from the 1700's. We had a great lunch in the Marketplace Pub- and yes I did have a sandwich!

I had the kids looking out for fire insurance plaques- they are really bored with this now...... But we did find a new one...

The Royal Insurance Company was formed in 1845 in Liverpool and shows the "Liver Bird" in the centre.
