Inverness Campus - the cygnets grow so rapidly.

Alas we're down from eight to six, after a dog attack killed one and left another seriously injured, which the SSPCA Vet decided to put down. The adult male was particularly aggrieved and hostile towards any other creatures coming near the remaining cygnets for several days thereafter.

Over all the years there have been swans at the campus, more premature deaths of their cygnets have been caused by dogs than anything else.
