White Poppy

We knew the other two poppies would open and die while we were away so we were delighted to find a third bud when we got home. They're lovely but they would outlast the forecast storms.

I've had a quiet day today as The Man had to go to clean the lodge on his own. I didn't want to leave my germs in the place. I was feeling less tired and managed to stay awake all day.

A neighbour called with a bunch of flowers as she realised the contractors renewing their drive had created a lot of dust. That was nice of her!
