Another lovely flower...

... for my blip today. 

Another  very warm, sunny day was predicted - so a very early photo kept me relatively cool.

One of these days, I will remember to photograph the name tag at the base of the flower so that I can appear knowledgeable. (P.S. Many thanks to Mindseye for identifying this as the Himalayan Poppy.)
