Where Is God?

We had a great evening out in the mountain taverna at the square in Anogi, Ithaca (Greek Island), and the photo' is of the husband and wife who run the bar, Daniela and Lefteris..  Besides lovely food and service it was extremely good value money wise and entertainment.

He told us of his greek joke where a mother can't control her two children, 8 and 6 years of age. She talks to the village priest about her children being naughty and also stealing, and begs the priest to help. He says he will deal with each child alone and the mother takes one to see him.

The Priest says to the child "Do you know God?"
The boy doesn't answer and the priest repeats the question a few times and gets annoyed as there is no answer.

The Priest then says "Where is God?"
Again there is no answer. The Priest repeats the question numerous times, getting angry and red in the face as the boy doesn't answer.

Finally the boy runs out of the church back home, scared, and bolts the door behind him. His brother asks what happened.

He says " He thinks we stole God!"
