Hot hot hot

We escaped the heat today by going back to the Botanical Gardens and would have quite enjoyed a dip like this chap. Anyway the gardens were lovely and cool and we explored a couple of areas we missed the last time. 
When we got back to the city centre the was obviously a religious festival going on. Lots of music,  floats being carried aloft with religious icons, and altar boys with incense (extra). All very colourful. 
And in news  from home NS has been arrested.
