Maggia valley

A relaxing Sunday with lovely 28° and blue sky. We took a slow 30km eBike ride into the Maggia valley, enjoyed gnocchis with wild garlic pesto under big trees at a grotto and cycled back via Losone and Ascona (stopping for ice cream). Blip is the river Maggia with its characteristic round stones, sandy “beaches” and water ponds where people swim. We did not have our swim suits with us today.
