Our friends left for home today so we headed out on a short and gentle walk from the Blencathra Field Studies Centre along the Cumbria Way to Skiddaw House and back.  This shot is on the the way back.  Another hot one.  The serious stuff starts on Monday with a recce of a walk I am leading next week.
