Mixed day

Hot start to the day, not as sunny but still hot.

I purchased a new “squirrel-proof” bird feeder - supposed to be for tge little birds, starlings can still squeeze in and clearly magpies have a long beak. I think it has defeated the squirrel!

Spot of shopping and dropped my bike off for my son-in-law to look at my gears (they have been a bit clunky lately).

Managed to get some washing out on the line, had been out for about 30 mins and the heavens opened, Rumbles of thunder, no lightening, but very heavy rain (see extra).

The storm seems to have made the air a bit clearer, not so muggy.
