Storm clouds

It’s been another very warm day but mainly without the sun. Our youngest grandson didn’t have a very good night and has been fairly unsettled most of the day.

We took our older grandson out late morning to the local park. Although he is reluctant to leave the house when given a choice he quickly perked up and had a great time. The weather was changeable with the odd spot of rain but he enjoyed feeding the birds and ducks, running around with his grandad and playing in the playground. He is a lot more confident with the equipment now. He didn’t want to go back home but only having his lunch with us that he had eaten we were getting hungry. So we headed back for a late lunch.

The sunny started to appear as we returned but by late afternoon it was cloudy hot and close. Dramatic storm clouds appeared in the early evening followed by some lightning and thunder and then some rain.
