Lordy lordy...

I'm 40! As much as I was feeling a bit sad about turning 40, it was a fabulous birthday weekend. We did an overnight getaway with my best friend and her husband, pictured here, and returned for a wonderful family BBQ with, at my request, burgers, fries and a delicious vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. I was gifted some beautiful jewelry and an espresso machine! I felt very loved this weekend. Here's to the next 40 years!
