A net to catch a ling. . . .

Checking the seedlings this morning I found this! A young ling, 15cm long, on the net that protects them from birds.  Some passing gull must have dropped it! 

Several years ago we found a starfish hanging on the garden trellis! The excitement of living by the sea!
