Mediterranean Style
Hot-ish. After visiting the nurse and learning that I have to continue going for new dressings, I said we'd go to Finkins for brunch.
No free seating outside so Len took a table and put it on the kerb opposite in the shade of one of the trees. Colin turned up shortly after on his replacement scooter as his own is in dock for repair.
The Finkins ladies thought we looked very Mediterranean sitting out in the square under the tree.
After we'd finished brunch, we all moved up to Colin's. Despite his not having been able to tend to his garden over the winter and spring, it was looking magnificent. See extra.
Clouds were massing as we arrived home. An hour later, we were deluged by very welcome rain. It's raining more gently now rather than the original downpour. So many friends on Facebook from all over the country are telling me they've had none of this thundery rain. I feel lucky. The ground had got very dry.
