No idea

I had a meeting at the ice rink today so I arranged to meet my friend for coffee in the museum cafe next door. As I waited for her to arrive I took this photo of the sculpture outside. I had no idea what it was and I couldn't find any plaque. Unfortunately I didn't realise the museum is now closed on a Monday so I still don't know what it is.
