Bryn Always Asda Go Here
Forgive the pun but this has become a tradition for us when we visit. Even though I had spent the Champions League Final with Bryn, L had yet to get together with him. We started the day enjoying a lovely walk with the Lyden family taking the kids to school and then Under Pressure for a good coffee. Had a chat with Matt from UE about coffee prices and suppliers.
Then, unfortunately we had to take our leave and drive up to Northwich where we are now sitting in a farm field and where my olfactory organ is definitely confirming the presence of bovine defecators. Lovely quiet remote site but really far from all the people we are seeing up here. Just finished cooking sausages, potatoes, green beans and mushrooms whilst a thunderstorm is raging outside - seems to be subsiding now but it has been raining most of the time.
Miraculously after a lot of research I have found an alternative for the next 3 days near Warrington which is about half the distance from Manchester. So tomorrow we go to that site and spend our time meeting up with family from both sides and friends - I was born here so suppose it is more likely to be a fruitful place for visitation - but so glad we have found a better alternative after our familiar site from the last 3 visits has turned into a permanent site only.
