50 Golden Years

50 years ago Mom and Dad got married! 
To celebrate today we went to the Riverside Inn just outside Shrewsbury. Although they had cards at our house before we left, there were a couple of surprises waiting at the table for them when we got to the Riverside. 
- A big bouquet of flowers (bottom left corner) 
- Belgian chocolates
- Huge golden 5 and 0 balloons
- and a photobook of pictures from the last 50 years

We all had a wonderful time and the terrace setting was perfect given the glorious weather. There was even a little grassy area for Owen to play on. 
Mom & Dad seemed to love the photo book*...almost as much as Owen loved his ice cream*. There was plenty of chat and, of course, pictures of the two of them*, two plus two*, and of Louisa & me*...ready for the next photobook.
