West Beach Esperance

Esperance is a large town on the south east coast of Western Australia. It would be a lovely place to live but it is 8+ hours drive to Perth. Albany the closest city is 4+ hours away. All along the foreshore the council has put in bike tracks and native gardens. There are multiple amusements for old and young. The cycle ways were well used, more than the roads. 

The main shot is West Beach, just 3km from town. We spent the morning exploring on the bikes (and having morning tea), enjoying the nice weather and scenery. Everything seems modern except a clock tower which was lovely but really it didn’t seem to suit the rest of the place. We have extended our stay to 4 nights so we can go to Cape Le Grand tomorrow.
