J has dragged herself home ahead of schedule and will hopefully be up for a visit tomorrow. This is just the start of a long, long journey. Its like a grieving process with disbelief, anger and denial.

At work I decided that I need an ideas board. I come across cool things and feel inspired but bookmarking is just another filing pile and I want to see what's interesting me. So I've started small but have plans to funk up my working space so it's a bit less smart and a bit more playful and creative.

And I had at least one good idea as a result which the boss seemed to like and, in the totally wonderful way of things, the idea chimed with a completely different project he'd been thinking about.

I like my working life. I just need to be a teensy bit more relaxed about it, knowing that stuff will happen or I can make it happen.
