Busy day...
What a busy day - woke up way early...Camille had an arts and crafts show and I was helping her. It's been interesting seeing her doing what she does - she seems to have many roles in life.
Got a chance to meet quite a few interesting people - the guys next to us were cool, got along with them. But for some reason - it seems like almost everyone I was introducing myself to moved to New Mexico from back East! Kind of ironic - the locals, particularly the young people, they can't wait to get out of the state and move somewhere else. Others, they can't wait to move here!
Personally, I think the people who want to leave should leave - experience living in another state and then they'll gain an appreciation for the beauty that surrounds them. I've been all over the world and New Mexico is like no other place I've known...it's truly unique and so beautiful. And such good energy.
It was definitely a good day for photography - got quite a few shots...here is a small collection. I finally was able to get a good shot of Noah's mom, Camille (bottom left). She never - EVER- smiles for the camera...the guys next to us were distracting her and I just snapped away! She needs a new photo for her web site...this will work.
Camille's jewelry is bottom row - middle...she has some unique pieces - I particularly love this stone. Bottom right - I just couldnt resist...the pup was so darn friendly and looked adorable w/ the glasses. The owner told me he is prone to eye infections, so the doggy glasses help.
Top left - just a random Southwest home I came across - loved the door. And top right...beautiful green leaf resting on a bench - the colors just blended so beautifully.
Josh and I had a good talk - life is crazy right now, we try to talk a few times a week. Hes still wanting to come out for a visit - planning that...maybe for next weekend. And we'll also be meeting up back East in July...definitely planning that! We really had a blast last time both of us were home.
He is such a good guy...really enjoy talking w/him...and we get along so well. He is so easy going - great sense of humor - can be serious and deep with his thinking - has such a great laugh...just one of those people that you want to be around because they simply make you feel good. Funny, he says the same thing about me ;) I can see why him and Kenny were best friends - they're so alike.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend...will catch up on comments soon.
