My only outing today has been to the recycling site. While the painter was busy at the side of the house I tried to reduce the thickness of the beech hedge at the back. Just the bit I didn’t do a few years ago.

Some flowers are showing the effects of too much sun and not enough water but those in the blip are in a shadier spot and still look good. I did a bit of bee chasing but only got one acceptable photo from about 20 shots. I need to find bigger and slower bees.

I’m now waiting for the builder to come this evening and repair some cracked render above a window.
