Skipton

Bus pass walkers headed to Skipton this morning. We arrived in time for a coffee at a new (to us) cafe. (It used to be a wedding dress shop where C bought her dress.)
Then a walk around Skipton castle woods, a nice shady choice on another hot day. Lunch in another new to us cafe recommended by Yorkshirebred. Another good choice. Back to the bus station to find the bus we wanted just about to depart. It was earlier than we expected- probably running very late - as once out of Skipton the driver pulled into a lay by because the engine was overheating! We seem to have this effect on buses! Fortunately the next bus came along and we decanted from one to the other!
