A living homage

..... to my Ma, Lizzie, who turned 80 today, who said goodbye to her Bobby two days ago after 55 years of marriage.

The weather was kind.  Everyone was kind.

We were multitudinous at the moulin;  We'd done the Crem de la Crematorium and this was the Wake of the Wake.

The children brought round all the flowers and set them about the table.

Lizzie insisted on a ceilidh, which we gave her.

Yorkshire Peter Barlow insisted on a line dance so Dolly sang Islands in the Stream.   Nico jumped out of the window into the canal and shoes were kicked off under the trees.
