Caged In

The gooseberries are growing so it's time to cage the bushes, otherwise the pigeons will be helping themselves before the fruit is ripe enough for picking. Mr Flum had to buy new bamboo canes as the old ones were disintegrating so the construction is new but the netting has been used before.

After yesterday's peregrinations on the tram network, today I've been quiet at home, writing thank-you notes and catching up on the Covid journal (=diary) for the last week's activities.
