One of Those (Good) Mornings

It was a good morning for photos! Started with the groundhog remembering last year when there used to be piles of birdseed on the rock; then this lovely red-headed woodpecker on our walk; then - also on the walk - a bird flying over that made me say "what's that?" and try to grab a shot of it. Turned out to be a great blue heron.
