A Forgotten Corner of the Churchyard
A quick pop out of the office at lunchtime. I couldn't have two desperation blips in a row!
I found this part of the churchyard disconcerting. Despite being at the front of the church, adjacent to the road, it had the distinct feel of being neglected. What was worse was the grass cuttings from the churchyard seemed to have been strewn liberally around the grave stones. The yew trees had obviously thrived in the area and provided a thick roof like covering over the the area.
Despite the wording on the right hand grave stoneit hardly appears to be 'sacred'.
