Simple Pleasures

A great fringe benefit of my wife's work is that many local residents who raise chickens (and ducks!) sell their eggs through the store. This means we have a fairly consistent supply of fresh eggs from a variety of sources. When I open up a carton of eggs for the first time I'm never sure just what I'm going to find. There's always a nice variety of different shapes, sizes, and textures to choose from. This morning I was attracted to this speckled egg for breakfast. It was wholesome and delicious!
