The Royal Exchange

A cafe now, surrounded by posh shops, the Royal Exchange used to be a place for traders and merchants to conduct business a stone's throw from the Bank of England. I rarely visit the City these days and every time I come something has changed - some new building going up, old buildings disappearing. Young men still float around in sharp suits and poorly polished shoes. There's something eternal about the place. Packed like sardines on the train home. What a godawful way commute.
