Scaffolding

We have painters painting all our outdoor window frames and they will be with us for two weeks. Today was scaffolding day. There is so much noise, and at one point we had five people all working at once (three of them were the scaffolders), and I feel invaded!

The first one arrived at 8.30 but by 2.30 they were gone, so I'm not sure if that counts as a full day's work. Mind you, working on a west facing side of the house in this weather can't be much fun.

I'll be so glad when it's over.

Meanwhile, I had my German/English Skype chat with Heidi and that is always a lot of fun.
