Anniversary rose

This was given to us for our 50th wedding anniversary . I had seen no buds this year so assumed it would not flower but this afternoon I saw 2 flowers and more buds
Gatwick this morning to pick up my sister . Plane landed at 9:20 and she was with us by 10:15. Not bad considering she plane assist .
She cannot speak so communication is done via writing pointing nodding etc. she is on soft non spicey food so soup for lunch snd jacket potato for dinner.
Had another telephone consultation with doctor today which had a good outcome . StYs qui with tablets for next month then an in person consultation in a months time.
Nice not having to go to the cafe today
