I need a bigger workshop…..

Up to electrickery again. Not the sailing club but the bowls club. Revamp of their irrigation control system.
First set back was the nice plastic enclosures to house the pump controls. According to the website they have clear hinged lids and are supplied with a DIN rail on moulded in lugs. First the lid fell off when I took the screws out, then there was no DIN rail and no lugs.
On the phone to the supplier who agreed the picture on their website showed the rail in the box and said hinges for the lid. He calls back 5 minutes later and tells me the manufacturer has changed it and he will send me a length of rail to cut and fit myself, oh and the website has been updated!
Unable to go further with this part of the job I started on the consumer unit and then found the glands had no back nuts. Another phone call to be told the nuts are an extra, and not included. No wonder they were a bit cheaper. Not now with another lot of carriage…..
