Keeping cool.

This morning we went over to The Pond to check on the goslings. They have certainly grown.
Pleased to see there were still five little ones.
The parents were very wisely keeping them in the shade, but later took them for a swim before settling again under the tree.

Same number of ducklings and moorhen chicks. All seem to be thriving.
Another species that are thriving are the fish. See extra.
No sign of the heron.

Another beautiful sunny day. Cloudless sky, and today we had a nice breeze, which meant the temperatures weren’t quite as high. Much better for me.
Washing certainly dried quickly.
Must say I am enjoying this weather.
